/ Create a Personal Screen Saver

Create a Personal

Screen Saver

Windows XP

For a great way to put your digital photos to work, try creating a slide show presentation for use as a screen saver.

  1. Right-click an empty spot on your desktop , then click Properties.

Click Image for example:  PersonalScreensaver.JPG (6090 bytes)

  1. Click the Screen Saver tab.

Click Image for example:  PersonalScreensaver2.JPG (32905 bytes)

  1. In the Screen saver list, click My Pictures Slideshow.

Click Image for example:  PersonalScreensaver3.JPG (30813 bytes)

  1. Click Settings to make any adjustments, such as how often the pictures should change, what size they should be, and whether you'll use transition effects between pictures, and the click OK.

Click Image for example:  PersonalScreensaver4.JPG (36571 bytes)

You can even use a special folder with only the pictures you want to see, such as all the pictures of your vacation or your Grandkids!  Just create a folder in My Pictures and then click the Browse button in settings and point to your new folder.

To create a special folder

  1. Click Start, then Click My Pictures

  2. Right Click on a blank area and choose New

  3. Click Folder

  4. Type in the name for the new folder and press Enter

Now your screen saver is a random display of the pictures taken from your My Pictures folder.
