Create a
Personal
Screen Saver
Windows Vista
For a great way to put your digital photos to work, try creating
a slide show presentation for use as a screen saver.

Right-click an empty spot on your desktop , then click
Personalize.
Click Image for example:

Click Screen Saver.
Click Image for example:

In the
Screen saver list, click Photos.
Click Image for example:

Click Settings.
Click Image for example:

Click
Browse to change what folder it will use.
Click Image for example:

Use
the slider to the right and click on the folder name
and then click OK
Click Image for example:

Click
the arrow to show Theme options under Use
this theme, click the type of theme you would
like to use.
Click Image for example:

Click
the arrow to show Speed options under Slide
Show speed, click the speed you want to use
and then click Save.
Click Image for example:

You can even use a special folder with only
the pictures you want to see, such as all the pictures of your vacation or
your Grandkids! Just create a folder in My Pictures
and then click the Browse button in settings and point to
your new folder in step 6 above.
To create a special
folder

Click Start, then
Click My Pictures
-
Right Click on a blank area and choose New
-
Click Folder
-
Type in the name for the new folder and press
Enter
Now your screen saver is a random display of the pictures taken
from your My Pictures folder.
