Vista - Changing the Desktop Wallpaper

Change Your Wallpaper

 

Windows Vista

 

     

 

The graphical background of your desktop, whether it's a picture or just a pattern or color, is called wallpaper.  It's easy to change your wallpaper.

 

To change your wallpaper:

  1. Right Click  anywhere on the desktop

  2. Click Personalize

Click Image for example:  WallpaperV_1.jpg (14014 bytes)

  1. Click Desktop Background

Click Image for example:  WallpaperV_2.jpg (71991 bytes)

  1. Click Browse for your own picture.

Click Image for example:  WallpaperV_3.jpg (52191 bytes)

Or....Click the dropdown arrow to choose an option

Click Image for example:  WallpaperV_7.jpg (70934 bytes)

  1. Click the folder (Pictures for your own images) you would like to get a photo from:

Click Image for example:  WallpaperV_4.jpg (57179 bytes)

  1. Click an image and click Open

Click Image for example:  WallpaperV_5.jpg (57750 bytes)

  1. To change how the image displays (such as tiled or full screen), just click the circle in front of the option you want.

Click Image for example:  WallpaperV_6.jpg (73664 bytes)

Note:  You can also change the picture at this time by just clicking the image and click OK to save this change.
