How to Use Belarc Advisor

Download Belarc Advisor

1. Click on link Belarc

(or copy and paste the following address into your address bar: http://belarc.com/free_download.html )

2. Click on the link on the right of the Belarc screen that looks like this to start download.

For High Speed Internet Users: A File Download window will appear. Click on Run. Follow the installation wizard instructions to install.

For Dial Up Internet Users: Click on Save and then save to your desktop. Once downloaded, double click icon on your desktop and follow installation wizard instructions to install.

Note: If you downloaded to your desktop, delete the icon from your desktop after installation is complete.

Install Belarc Advisor

1. Click I Agree

2. Click Install

3. Put a check in the box for Don't show this message again, then click Continue

4. Put a check in the box for Remember this choice and don't ask me again, then click Yes

5. Put a check in the box for Remember this choice and don't ask me again, then click Yes

6. Click OK

Create a Report

1. Go to Start, Click on Belarc Advisor

2. Wait for program to finish

3. A Internet Explorer window will open. This is your complete report.

Print a Report

1. Once you have the report open, Click File, then click Print. Your can also click the small arrow next to the printer icon and click Print.

Save a Report

1. Once you have the report created, click File and then click Save As...

2. Change the location if you prefer and then click Save

You are done! Keep a current Belarc profile for your computer and update it any time you change hardware or software. Be sure to keep a printed copy!!
